It works. August 8, 2010 Nataliya Bari (New York, NY) After 25+ years with KP on my skin, I was very skeptical. KP Duty simply works. My arms are so much smoother than they have ever been and the redness is almost gone entirely. I have been using the scrub three times a week (jar says to use it twice) and the lotion twice a day. I am confused as to why someone would think it is that expensive - $40.00/bottle is just the price of most high end lotions. I've spent far more with less or no results.
I love this stuff! May 6, 2010 Eeksy (Texas) 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
When I first came across this product, I was in the middle of a horrible KP outbreak and searching desperately online for help. Initially I balked at the $40 price tag, but then I read the reviews and decided it might be worth splurging on. I was right! I saw a drastic improvement after a few days, and my KP had almost entirely cleared up in a few weeks. After that, I used it more sparingly, only when I noticed the bumps returning, and my first tube lasted a year and a half. After the KP Duty had worked its magic, I could use cocoa butter on the backs of my arms to moisturize, and that takes care of my skin pretty well.
I have tried to use it on my fiance, who has much worse KP than I did (arms, legs, and back), but we haven't achieved such good results. This is because he doesn't use it consistently, and doesn't substitute any other moisturizer in between usage.
Thanks, DermaDoctor, for another amazing product!
Did Not Work April 18, 2010 D. alexander (New York) I purchased this item, followed all the instructions, after using it for as long as 3 months there was still no result. It was a waste of my money...too expensive and not as effective. I did some more research and started using Eucerin cream (should contain urea). This is working a little better. The best method is to increase your intake of Vitamin A, drink lots of water, do not take hot, long baths and always keep the affected areas most. Again the Eucerin cream can help to keep the skin moist.
Awesome product! March 11, 2010 T. Williamson (Cincinnati, Ohio) I have been using KP Duty for about 2 years now and I love it! I have a very mild case of KP so this works wonders on my arms and legs. I do use it daily and it is pricey to buy every 3 weeks, but I love the results!
wonder product for KP February 23, 2010 Luminosity 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
My tween daughter was diagnosed with KP about 2 years ago. It was on her cheeks so I'm sure you can imagine how heartbreaking it was to learn there was no cure and no true treatment. We tried all of the creams recommended by the different dermotologists we saw. Some burned and/or irritated her skin. Most were very expensive. None really did any good at all. I found KP Duty when I researched KP online. The Dr hadn't even heard of it. It was a bit expensive for us (though less expensive than some other options we tried), but I decided to try it anyway. Thank goodness I did. After a few weeks of continual use, the bumps and the redness were gone. She has now been on the cream for about 8 months and we love it. We tried stopping use a few months ago just to check if she had outgrown the KP, but the bumps came back. KP Duty may not work for everyone, but - for us - it has been an absolute wonder.
