Awesome product! March 11, 2010 T. Williamson (Cincinnati, Ohio) I have been using KP Duty for about 2 years now and I love it! I have a very mild case of KP so this works wonders on my arms and legs. I do use it daily and it is pricey to buy every 3 weeks, but I love the results!
wonder product for KP February 23, 2010 Luminosity My tween daughter was diagnosed with KP about 2 years ago. It was on her cheeks so I'm sure you can imagine how heartbreaking it was to learn there was no cure and no true treatment. We tried all of the creams recommended by the different dermotologists we saw. Some burned and/or irritated her skin. Most were very expensive. None really did any good at all. I found KP Duty when I researched KP online. The Dr hadn't even heard of it. It was a bit expensive for us (though less expensive than some other options we tried), but I decided to try it anyway. Thank goodness I did. After a few weeks of continual use, the bumps and the redness were gone. She has now been on the cream for about 8 months and we love it. We tried stopping use a few months ago just to check if she had outgrown the KP, but the bumps came back. KP Duty may not work for everyone, but - for us - it has been an absolute wonder.
It is the only thing that has ever worked December 9, 2009 Anne Masterson (CT United States) I have had KP for many years and have always been very self-conscious about showing my arms. Dermadoctor KP is the only thing that has ever worked for me, and I have tried virtually everything. My arms do not look perfect, but I am not longer feel like I have to cover them up.
The downside is it is rather pricey and the effects only last as long as it is used. However, I consider this to be the medicing for my skin problem and do not mind that. For me, it is worth it.
Makes redness worse November 12, 2009 Peter (Madison, WI United States) 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
I purchased this and Aqua Glycolic at the same time for KP on my arms, which consists of multiple reddish bumps. I used Aqua Glycolic first. It did a decent job wearing down the bumps and a decent job reducing the redness. Nothing spectacular, but it helped. After I emptied the Aqua Glycolic, I tried KP Duty. Like Aqua Glycolic, it did an ok job wearing down the bumps, but it made the redness much worse, and it seemed to generate some mild acne (I am not acne-prone). I stopped using KP Duty after a few weeks, and the redness subsided. I think it was too harsh for me. After KP Duty, I tried AmLactin XL and Rea Lo 30 cream. AmLactin XL smelled like urine, and Rea Lo left a waxy residue, so I didn't use either for very long. Frankly, the best solution I've found for my KP is mild scrubbing in the shower followed by a very mild exfoliating lotion like Eucerin with AHA. That combination wears down the bumps and reduces redness more than Aqua Glycolic or KP Duty. I would imagine everyone responds to these treatments differently. Try a few different products and see what works.
Helped, but does not work August 18, 2009 Lila Bayliss (Stafford, VA) It helped, it smoothed some areas on my arm, but it does not 100% remove the problem as claimed on the box.
